President & Chief Consulting Principle
As a 24-year veteran of engineering design, production, and project management, Mark Kramer started Vigilant Services as a multi-spectrum consulting firm, advising and representing clients in the fields of Construction/Rehabilitation Planning and Management, Building Science, and Owners Representation.
Mark often describes Vigilant as a “Concierge” Consultancy, as he aims to deliver unrivaled customer-care and attention to not only the end-user, but also the residents and owners within the projects Vigilant manages.
With engineering and project management credentials spanning two continents and four industries, Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Rollins College in Florida.
Chief Financial & Strategy Officer
As CF&SO of Vigilant Services, Vanessa is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial operations, and serves as chief architect of Vigilant's growth strategy. Vanessa is a Florida-licensed Construction Financial Officer with over 25 years of professional experience in Finance, Facilities Leadership, Strategic Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions, Operations Management, and Project Management.
Vanessa graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida with degrees in Finance as well as Information Systems; and Summa Cum Laude with her MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Principle Project Manager
Chad is a licensed Florida Building Contractor who has spent his entire professional life in Construction and Construction Management. Chad brings over 20 years of Supply-Chain Risk Reduction Management, Commercial Construction Management, as well as Process Improvement Implementation for corporate fix-and-flips all around Colorado's Front Range corridor.
As Principle Project Manager and Owners Representative for many of Vigilant's active projects, Chad ensures that all elements of Quality Control and Contract Administration are attended to, for his Owner Clients, in accordance with American Institute of Architects' (AIA) contract standards.
Building Science Consultant & Senior PM
Jeremy Leffler brings 20 years of project management experience across the construction and design industries into Vigilant Services. Specializing in structural building design and construction, Jeremy has guided both domestic and international projects from inception to completion, with emphasis on optimized structural design and effective material selection. While guiding rehabilitation projects, Jeremy's focus on the right materials and processes for the Central Florida clientele ensures projects are cost-optimized, and quality-focused.
Jeremy further leverages his electrical safety and power distribution sector experience into the Vigilant clients he serves, working to safeguard active projects and personnel in high-risk environments and, thereby, protect his clients from risk and exposure.
Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in Indiana.
